How Our Sticks Compete Against Box Lacrosse Level Play!
Share
Can your lacrosse stick handle the physicality of box lacrosse? We put ours to the test.
Last night at box lacrosse practice, I watched a player break two ECD lacrosse heads during practice. When he needed another stick to finish, I offered him a Cradle Cartel stick to use. At first, he wasn't convinced. Box lacrosse is physical, demanding, and unforgiving on equipment, and he wasn't sure a Cradle Cartel stick would hold up. But instead of trying to convince him with words, I let the stick speak for itself. He took it into a drill and put it through the same kind of action that had broken his previous heads.
After the drill, his reaction changed. He told me the Cradle Cartel stick felt surprisingly durable and that he could see it holding up during box lacrosse. After practice, he thanked me for letting him use it and for giving him the chance to experience the stick for himself. That moment meant something to me—not because we were trying to prove another brand wrong, but because a player who was initially skeptical had gotten to try our gear firsthand and form his own opinion.
At Cradle Cartel, we want to build equipment for players who demand more from their gear. Box lacrosse puts sticks through serious tests, and we believe players deserve equipment they can trust when the game gets physical. One practice doesn't tell the whole story, but it's a reminder of why we're doing this: to build, test, improve, and earn the confidence of players one rep at a time.
